US Wealth Management New Haven is now Nexa Financial Group.

There is no doubt that by now most reading this have heard the exciting news that we have officially rebranded as Nexa Financial Group. Everything you know and love about US Wealth New Haven and the team serving you will remain intact, and we are here to assure you that this new chapter will not cause any disruptions in the relationships we have. You may be wondering, after so many years as US Wealth Management, why make a change? Why now? And, most importantly, why Nexa? Through our own self-discovery exercise, we learned that the name US Wealth Management didn’t tell the story of who we were. It functioned in the literal sense, yes, but went no deeper than surface level. As we looked at who we are at the core, one thing became incredibly clear – our passion for the special connections we have with our clients and their families. That’s where Nexa was born.

Nexa is derived from the Latin word for connection, nexus, something that immediately resonated with everyone here on our team. In addition to highlighting the deep personal relationships we have with those we work with, the Nexa ethos extends to our philosophy on wealth management where we pride ourselves on tying together all aspects of personal finance throughout our planning process.

We spent months preparing for the launch, much of that time thinking deeply about what we do, how we do it and who we do it for. When we started formally pursuing the search for a new brand in October of last year, we quickly learned that this is not an exercise to be completed in haste. To get it right, we enlisted the help of a few consultants who helped us define the Nexa difference and used their creative minds to bring our vision to life. More than a makeover, we ultimately found a name, look and feel that is meaningful and reflective of what we value most about what we do.

Whether you’re a longstanding client of our firm, checking us out for the first time, or just a casual follower of our blogs, I’m here to assure you that even though we’ve changed our name, the team you know and love will still be here to answer the phone. As we embrace this new chapter, we look forward to providing you with the same expert advice and exemplary service you have always known us for.

I’d be remiss not to mention how the success of this initiative would not have been possible without the awesome team who helped us execute. First off, to my dad and firm founder, Tom, who encouraged me to run wild with this endeavor. Preston, who was part of the process from day one, had to deal with thousands of questions from me. I can’t count how many times I’d say, “what do you think about…”, and he took it all patiently in stride. A huge thank you and shout out to David Bright, who we enlisted to curate the new look and feel of the company, design our logo, create brand guidelines, and force us out of our comfort zone to get us to the finish line. And, last, but not least, to Mike Burke, who helped bring our vision to life via our completely redesigned website. He humored me through a series of no fewer than a dozen revisions and built a truly unique website that helps us better connect with you.
