The past few months have been a whirlwind here at Nexa, and as fall descends on New England we’re excited to announce the addition of Caroline Kambrich to our team as Director of Client Experience. Ask anyone tasked with hiring in today’s environment and they are sure to tell you that it is a major challenge to find a candidate that is qualified, motivated and fits with the culture of the business. After a long hiring process, I’m confident we were lucky to find a diamond in the rough and couldn’t be happier that Caroline felt the same way about coming to work with us. So, you may be wondering, as our new Director of Client Experience, what exactly will Caroline be doing around here?!

I’ll make the argument that she now holds one of the most important duties in the office. She will be assisting Preston and I with many of the responsibilities that help us keep the office running. It is the execution of the little things that make a difference in the big picture – quicker responses to inquiries, faster turnaround time for requests, more timely delivery of information – and Caroline will be a key part in helping us better serve our clients each day. From answering inbound calls to keeping our calendar full, she will add another dimension to our service level and our ability to deliver on what I consider our most important core value: being proactive. This is the less-glamorous part of the job, but very much a critical one.

But she will also get to have some fun, too. Caroline has an extensive background in marketing and digital communications, most recently working for a local commercial solar company and prior to that spending several years working for Lux Bond and Green, a high-end jeweler with multiple locations across Connecticut. She will be using this expertise to help revamp our outbound communications across all channels to get more timely, relevant and important information out to our clients and followers each week. We’ll also utilize her creative nature to plan more social events, expand our involvement with local charities and bring a new perspective to how we communicate with you.

So, as we work to onboard Caroline into our day-to-day life, be on the lookout for her name in your inbox, her picture on the website and waiting to greet you as you walk in the door. I trust you’ll find her easy to talk to and always willing to share a laugh.
