Tailoring strategies to manage your financial future

We assess fees in two different ways:

• Fee for service - a fixed fee assessed on a project/one-time basis or recurring basis (sometimes described as a subscription or retainer fee), depending upon the nature of the relationship.
• Asset based fees - a fixed percentage fee determined by the size of your household accounts in our asset management program. Fees vary by relationship, but most pay 1% or less on an annual basis. Asset-based fees are paid quarterly, in advance, and deducted directly from client investment accounts.

• Onboarding fee: All new clients are assessed a one-time onboarding fee.
  • Onboarding fees are quoted on an individual basis, subject to a $3,000 minimum, payable at the inception of the planning engagement.
• Recurring Fees: May be assessed in the form of subscription fees and/or asset-based fees.

No, but we require a minimum annual fee of $7,500.

By assessing a fee minimum, rather than an account size minimum, it allows us to provide objective advice over all aspects of your financial household, not just the funds we directly manage. This is because there is not always a correlation between the value of investments someone has under our management and the level of guidance and planning the relationship requires. We will review all fees annually, and more frequently, as needed, should the nature of our relationship change (i.e. a large liquidity event).

Our clients are financially successful and often share certain characteristics, including but not limited to:

• Many have achieved a high level of success within their field, often within technology, medicine or professional services.
• Their financial situation involves complexities beyond the norm which require expertise in navigating sensitive income tax matters, managing a sizeable investment portfolio, coordination between various types of investments, estate and trust matters that extend beyond the basics, and an awareness of how all financial matters interact with one another.
